Authorized Lada dealers in Belarus announced the sale of the company’s model range of cars. The Belarusian representative office of AvtoVAZ offers customers models that are no longer assembled in Russia – XRay Cross, pre-styling Vesta and Granta with an engine of the Euro-5 environmental standard.
Cars are available in Belarus in “sufficient quantities”, and they can be bought for Russian rubles. Belarusian dealers stressed that Lada cars in Belarus can be purchased by citizens of the countries of the Customs Union. All models are provided with “a complete package of documents required for registration with local registration authorities.” However, such cars are not serviced under warranty in the Russian Federation: the press service of AvtoVAZ stated that there is no “cross-border guarantee” and car owners in case of damage will have to contact the Belarusian seller.
Currently, Belarusian dealers have stocks of Lada cars of the 2021 model year. Among them are budget Lada Granta with a full range of security systems, while since the summer AvtoVAZ has been producing “import-substituted” versions of the model without sophisticated electronics. In Belarus, they ask for 950 thousand rubles for a liftback.
Belarusian car dealers also have pre-styling Lada Vesta, the production of which ended in the spring – a station wagon and its Cross version, equipped with a multimedia system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In Belarus, the Vesta station wagon will cost 1,199,000 rubles, and the Vesta SW Cross will cost 1,490,000 or 1,690,000 rubles. The XRay Cross is also on sale (1,570,000 rubles) – AvtoVAZ no longer produces this model in Russia.
Earlier it became known that AvtoVAZ showrooms in Kazakhstan sell Lada cars cheaper than in Russia. Automotive experts noted that the shortage of cars also contributes to overpricing in the home market.
