Beijing, 13 Sep 14:29 – (Xinhua) – Beijing welcomed nearly 250 million tourists, bringing in 450 billion yuan (about $63.3 billion) in tourism revenue in the first eight months of this year, setting new records for the period, Mayor Yin Yong said yesterday.
During this period, the Chinese capital welcomed more than 2.3 million inbound tourists, marking an increase of more than 200 percent compared to the same period last year, Yin said at the World Tourism Cooperation and Development Conference 2024.
