The director, Amr Abdeen, announced the deterioration of the health of the artist and the media, Sherine Al-Tahan, and demanded that she be treated at the expense of the state, and revealed that she had been battling the disease for years.
Before Sherine El Tahan, a number of female artists suffered from cancer, most notably:
Elisa
Actress Elissa announced that she had breast cancer in 2018, following recovering from the disease and suffering from a period of treatment sessions.
Sherihan
The star, Sherihan, discovered that she had salivary gland cancer in 2002, and following she underwent a large number of surgeries, Sherihan announced her recovery and returned to her fans two years ago with an advertisement for a major telecom company.
Fayza Ahmed
The great artist, Faiza Ahmed, battled breast cancer, which ended with her death on September 21, 1983, in her 52nd year.
Zubaida Tharwat
The artist, Zubaida Tharwat, left our world in November 2016, following a long struggle with lung cancer, at the age of 76.
His Excellency Zayed
The malignant disease took the life of the artist, His Excellency Zayed, at the age of 61, following a journey of suffering that ended on November 10, 2014.
Nahid Al Sherif
The artist, Nahed Al-Sharif, who was not given time by the malignant disease, passed away in her 40th year, following a struggle with cancer. She died on April 7 of the year 1981.
Faiza Kamal
The late artist, Faiza Kamal, died in May 2014 of liver cancer, which she had suffered from for many years, at the age of 52.
Hala Fouad
Cancer attacked the artist, Hala Fouad, and following her recovery from it, he returned to her once more to attack her more fiercely, and end her life in May 1993.
Dina Hayek
Last year, the Lebanese actress, Dina Hayek, announced that she had breast cancer, and revealed last month that she had fully recovered following undergoing a number of chemotherapy sessions.
Samia Gamal
The late artist, Samia Gamal, suffered from bowel cancer, and underwent surgery during which a large part of her intestine was removed, and her journey with the disease ended with death in December 1994.
