With self-confidence after the tough 1-1 draw in yesterday’s test against Bundesliga team WSG Tirol, second division football team SV Guntamatic Ried will travel to the training camp in Catez, Slovenia tomorrow.

Even though test player Benoit Onambele scored Rieder’s goal from a corner in the first half, he won’t be on the bus tomorrow. “He played a good game, but he won’t be the player we want to sign in this position,” says sports director Wolfgang Fiala.
It is possible that a new left-back will join the team in Slovenia: the Rieders are looking for a foreign kicker.
Pause for reflection for Wörndl
The long-term injured Philipp Pomer and Matthias Gragger are also making the trip – but youngster Ben Wörndl is staying at home.
The 21-year-old was not present at yesterday’s test. Sports director Fiala explains: “We have certain standards in our team that every player and coach must meet. If that doesn’t happen, there must be consequences. Ben is a young, talented player who will learn from it.”
