Before its 11th Congress, the PPS holds the 10th session of its Central Committee

Preparation of the 11th national party congress. This 10th session of the Central Committee was devoted to the adoption of the legal and organizational modalities relating to the 11th National Congress, which will be held on November 11, 12 and 13 in Bouznika, to elect a new general secretary of the party.

Thus, the participants exchanged around the report of the political office devoted to the latest developments of the national political scene, reviewing the social, economic and financial axes in relation to the current challenges.

The challenges of this 11th National Congress were also highlighted during this meeting, which also focused on the presentation of a summary of the work of the sub-commissions and thematic commissions, in addition to discussing the projects of documents to be presented to the National Congress.

In a statement to the press, the secretary general of the party, Mohamed Nabil Benabdallah, indicated that this event is of great importance, because it will allow the party to “consolidating its identity and its political project”.

“The main objective we are looking for is to make this conclave a strong meeting that constitutes a democratic alternative within the national political scene”he noted, stressing that the PPS will continue to embody a critical orientation and a force of proposal.

For his part, the member of the party’s political bureau, Abderrahim Bennacer, pointed out that in recent months, the central committee has focused on the process of preparing for the 11th congress through the establishment of several thematic commissions. and functional, with the aim of providing the conditions conducive to the holding of the congress.

And to note that this meeting was an opportunity to present the activity report and the achievements of the Central Committee.

In the same vein, Aicha Lablak, member of the political office of the party, indicated that the holding of the last session of the Central Committee before the 11th Congress was an opportunity to debate and decide on the political document and the statutes of the party. .

Furthermore, and within the framework of the legal, organizational and procedural provisions in relation to the 11th National Congress, the deadline for obtaining and delivering party membership cards has been extended until September 17, without making any changes. to the deadlines of the rest of the preparatory processes, nor to the date of the holding of the congress.
