Before her death, Elizabeth II gave Meghan Markle advice on her relationship with her father: “She could see how devastating the situation was”

Queen Elizabeth II passed away on September 8 at Balmoral Castle. The state of health of the British monarch had deteriorated for several days and the members of the royal family were urgently invited to go to Scotland to say their farewells. But Prince Harry and his unwelcome wife Meghan Markle arrived too late at the Queen’s bedside.

It is common knowledge that the wife of the second son of King Charles III and the late queen did not have the best relationship. Yet in her forthcoming book ‘The News Royal’, royal expert Katie Nicholl reveals that Elizabeth II allegedly gave Meghan some valuable advice. Before dying, she would have asked Prince Harry’s wife to reconnect with her father Thomas Markle.

The Queen might see how devastating, damaging the situation was between Meghan and her father. She talked to Meghan regarding it and tried to encourage her to talk to Thomas.” thus explained Nicholl to the media Page Six, “the whole thing was mishandled with Thomas Markleand that if it had been done differently, things would have gone better

Meghan Markle and her father have been cold for several years. The latter has not yet been authorized to visit his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet.
