The Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hassan Nasrallah, and Hamas’ political bureau head, Ismail Haniyeh, met in Beirut to discuss recent developments in the region. The pair talked about the Israeli escalation against Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the attacks in Lebanon and Gaza. Hezbollah released a statement stating that the discussion also covered the political developments in the region and the cooperation of resistance parties. During his visit, Haniyeh met with many Palestinian and Lebanese personalities and events. Following their meeting, Haniyeh concluded his visit to Lebanon and left on Sunday evening. The northern borders with Lebanon and the south with the Gaza Strip have remained relatively calm after the resistance responded against attacks by the occupation forces. The Israeli army called on the residents of the Gaza border to return to their normal lives after canceling exceptional instructions. The occupation caused tension in the region last week after a brutal attack on believers during the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque. The brutal scenes of occupation beating and harassing people caused injuries to dozens of young men, leading to dozens of rockets fired from southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, some of which landed in separate areas causing losses to the occupation.

The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, and the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, held talks in Beirut, in which they reviewed the recent developments, the Israeli escalation against Al-Aqsa, and the bombing of Lebanon and Gaza.

And Hezbollah announced in a statement that “the most important developments in occupied Palestine, the course of events in Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the escalating resistance in the West Bank and Gaza Strip were reviewed.”

The two leaders also discussed “the political developments in the region in general, the readiness of the resistance axis and the cooperation of its parties in confronting all these events and developments.”

Haniyeh had met many leaders of the Palestinian forces and factions, as well as Palestinian and Lebanese personalities and events, during his visit.

After the meeting with Nasrallah, Haniyeh concluded his visit to Lebanon, and left on Sunday evening.

A cautious calm prevails on the northern borders with Lebanon, and in the south with the Gaza Strip, after a response by the resistance against the attacks of the occupation forces that bombed the Gaza Strip and southern Lebanon.

And the Israeli Channel 12 said that the Israeli occupation army canceled the exceptional instructions for the residents of the Gaza border, and called on them to return to their normal lives.

The occupation was the dawn of the situation in the region, after the brutal attack on the believers last week, during the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Scenes showed brutal beatings from the occupation of the people in retreat inside Al-Aqsa, firing tear gas and sound bombs at them, and harassing them. The occupation arrested 400 people in retreat and took them to interrogation centers.

Dozens of young men were injured, and as a result of the attack, dozens of rockets were fired from southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, a number of which landed in separate areas, causing losses to the occupation.
