Muhammad Abdo, the Arab artist, recalled his memories in Souda Asir during a lunch during which he ate many southern dishes before his concert, Friday, at the new “Samra” theater in the city of Abha.
And the Arab artist answered a special invitation from Mona Al-Asiri to have lunch in the village of Al-Souda, and he received a great welcome from the people of the region.
Mona Al-Asiri seemed happy that the Arab artist accepted the lunch invitation, and she said to Al-Riyadiah: “I was honored to receive the great artist in the beautiful atmosphere of Al-Suda, its cool climate and breezy breeze, with a wonderful view and stunning views.”
She added, “We presented him with many southern varieties, most notably Haneeth, Areeka, and Tsabe’a, and what he liked most was Areeka and Haneeth.”
Regarding the conversations that took place on the lunch trip, Mona said: “Muhammad Abdo talked regarding his beautiful days with Prince Khaled Al-Faisal when he was the governor of the Asir region.”
And she concluded: “It seemed clear from the Arab artist’s speech that he longed for those days, as he expressed his great love for Asir and its people.”
The Arab Artist’s concert comes on the occasion of the opening of the largest theater in the city of Abha, which was called “Samra” theater, coinciding with the blessed Eid Al-Adha, and organized by the Asir Region Development Authority.
