Beetlejuice Wears… Rodarte? The Brand Released a Collection Just Ahead of Tim Burton’s New Film Premiere

We all remember how many trends were generated by Tim Burton’s latest production, “Wednesday”. The sequel to “Beetlejuice” will be no different – now one of the Californian brands is selling a capsule collection of clothes inspired by the cult film.

Tim Burton’s ‘Beetlejuice’ Returns

In 1988 Tim Burton blurred the lines between horror and black comedy, presenting to the world „Beetlejuice”. The story of a deceased couple, who tries to find peace in the afterlife, has gone down in the history of cinema as one of the the most important works of the American director.

Burton’s aesthetic, full of dark, grotesque and at the same time surreal elements, it appears in almost every film by the creator, from “Edward Scissorhands” to “Corpse Bride.”

But it’s in “Beetlejuice” that she takes on her most eccentric side. This is of course due to the wonderful cast that (probably) flawlessly realized the director’s vision.

After 36 years, “Beetlejuice” returns with redoubled force. Literally – the title itself suggests it „Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”, sounding like part of a summoning spell spirit from the afterlife. To the delight of the production’s most ardent fans, the well-known faces that made the original a cult classic are returning to the team. What’s more, Michaela Keatona, Winony Ryder i Catherine O’Hary also joined by renowned actors, including Willem Dafoe, Monica Belluci and emerging actress who plays Wednesday, Jenna Ortega.

Although the excitement is lulled by the first reviews sequel to “Beetlejuice” after the Venice Film Festival (which, to put it mildly, are not impressive), we can expect that the characters in the film will inspire more than one person to recreate their Halloween make-up. It was with this in mind that Saks, the department store partner of the production, invited the brand Rodarte to create a collection dedicated to the world created by Tim Burton.
