Beeper Mini: The Ultimate Guide for Android Users to Use iMessage on Mac

Written by Mounis Hawass Friday, December 22, 2023 11:00 PM Launching an application Beeper Mini For chat, a new update allows Android users to chat via iMessage once more, but on the condition that a Mac is available, according to an engadget report.

According to the report, the new solution relies on Android phone users registering their accounts on Mac devices, then linking them to the Beeper Mini and Beeper Cloud applications, and thus Apple will not be able to disable them, while this solution came as an alternative to the old method.

The previous method relied on its Mac servers, to allow its users to continue using iMessage on Android phones, but Apple was able to block these servers and disable user accounts.

This problem has begun to appear since its launch at the beginning of this December, in order to provide Android users with the opportunity to correspond with iPhone users via iMessage, which is limited to Apple devices only, but Apple has disabled the programming method for the service that relied on using display servers. Notifications to iPhones were sent to the iMessage servers, which allowed them to pass through the service’s protocol, rather than through traditional SMS text messages.

If Apple blocks this final fix, that will be the case for the Beeper Mini, but the company has made the software open source for other people looking to try it. Beeper may be ditching iMessage integration, but it’s fully functional with its core chat app. The company said that it will work throughout 2024 to transform it into “the best chat application on Earth.”
