Moreover, Singapore is known for its high cost of living. Denada also revealed how she was trying to keep enough to support her life and her child for a total of four years there. Including the pandemic period with two years not working.

Denada said that he had previously been warned by doctors in Indonesia, that to seek treatment in Singapore means that the family is ready with a cost that is two to three times more expensive than in Indonesia.

“Two years were really hard. Before, it was easy, because from here to there, there were a lot of flights. So I often went back there at dawn. Until here I worked all day, flight Finally, I returned to Singapore,” he said.

The pandemic period arrived, Denada felt confused because she mightn’t be free to go in and out Singapore. Moreover, there was a period when Singapore closed its borders to tourists from Indonesia.

Until finally, the only way to earn income for those two years was to sell all the assets owned in Indonesia, Mother.

“Had to sell everything that was there. The house in Pejaten, still on sale, the house I live in now in Bintaro. Car, (now) I borrow Mama’s car. Anything that I can sell, branded bags, jewelry, whose position is in Indonesia,” said Denada.

“I’m saying that there is no bitterness, thank God I still have those items, if there are no items I don’t know how to do it. survived for two years,” he said.

In addition to selling his goods, Denada also said that he had a minimal ATM balance, around Rp. 200 thousand. Obviously, with that amount of money, he mightn’t cover his living expenses in Singapore.
