A condominium consultant told our news station that the extermination of bedbugs in a municipal building should be done by the municipality.
In such cases, when the residents indicate to the municipality that extermination is necessary, they should carry out appropriate extermination. Going and blowing some kind of poison with a small gun is currently not enough to exterminate bed bugs. It is necessary to act with very serious means in this case, practically gassing. In such cases, the apartment must be closed and abandoned, and one extermination is not enough, but often 2-3 exterminations are effective. I must add that it is not enough to exterminate in 1 apartment, so in this case, all infected apartments must be exterminated at the same time – emphasized Miklós Gábor Weisz.
And László Kecskeméti, the local Fideszes municipal representative, said: It is easier for András Pikó and his municipality to leave the residents alone than to solve their problems. He added that the only solution in such a case would be for the residents to make the case public, and due to the pressure of public opinion, the local government will have no choice but to act.
