Bed bugs are weak to high temperatures. If bed bugs are found, ‘high temperature steam’ is used to remove them. If you don’t have a steam cleaner, using a hair dryer at high temperature is said to be effective. Afterwards, pesticides approved by the Ministry of Environment to exterminate bed bugs are sprayed. At this time, do not spray on clothes or beds that have been in direct contact with the body. Insecticide usage and dosage must also be observed. If you have a clothes dryer, it is effective to dry clothes at 50 to 60 degrees Celsius for at least 30 minutes.
