The artist, Sabreen, spoke, during her earlier solution, with the media, Basma Wahba, on the Al-Arafa program broadcast on the Al-Mehwar satellite channel, regarding many personal and artistic aspects.
The artist Sabreen had answered a question from the media, Basma Wahba, regarding her opinion of polygamy and whether it underestimates the woman’s status, especially since she is a second wife.
Sabreen said during her interview on the “Al-Arafa” program broadcast on Al-Mihwar channel, “Oh, the second wife is belittling the woman in the event that the man takes her as a second wife in the sense of the word, meaning in secret and on the condition of not having children.”
And regarding her personal experience, she said, “I respected Josie when he proposed to his first wife to separate because he wanted to get married, and his wife refused because she wanted to raise her son, and I am the one who is satisfied with myself, even if she is not Egyptian.”
She added, “Relatively justice will not be achieved, because one will complain while he sat with me more and gave birth, and he understood me all his circumstances, and he himself succeeded once more because his wife paralyzed the uterus, and I respected him.”
About the period of her retirement from acting, she said, “I left art because I got confused following Umm Kulthum, and I was not comfortable in my house, marital disputes occurred, and I was psychologically destroyed.”
And she added, “Despite the success of the “Umm Kulthum” series, I felt that I hated the world and life, and I resorted to God, and I will not do anything except when I believe it.”
It is reported that Sabreen participated in the series “The Dream” with Mohamed Riad, Rania Farid Shawqi, Anushka, Samira Abdel Aziz and other elite stars.
