Kuwaiti journalist Fajr Al-Saeed criticized journalist Basma Wahba following dedicating an episode of her program “90 Minutes” to talk regarding the separation of the artist Yasmine Abdel Aziz and the artist Ahmed Al-Awadi following their official divorce was officially announced during the past few days.

She continued: “If the story is true that you preferred to remain silent and did not announce due to the circumstances of your husband’s candidacy for the elections, and yet no broadcaster or any channel opened to discuss the reasons for your silence and your acceptance of a reality that you reject, then your husband succeeded in the elections and became an important man, and until now your marriage to him, your divorce, and your return have not been discussed by any broadcaster.” Or a television channel or even an online news site. She added: “Maybe we know why you opened an entire episode to discuss the divorce of the great artist Yasmine Abdel Aziz. Is this an admission that all of your media history does not excite people and you do not care regarding what is going on around you and the history of Yasmine Abdel Aziz, who is the age of your little sister, Gibby Trend, or is it a psychological complex within you, I do not know.” It was caused by Yasmine specifically or any beautiful and successful woman. “Yasmine” had officially announced her separation from her husband, the artist Ahmed Al-Awadi, coinciding with her celebration of her 45th birthday, through her Instagram account, and commented: “The official divorce has occurred between me and Ahmed, and we have all respect and appreciation.”
Yasmine Abdel Aziz was born on January 16, 1979. She married in 2001 the businessman Mohamed Halawa, and they had Yasmine and Seif El-Din, but they separated at the beginning of 2018, and in early March 2020 she announced an emotional relationship with the actor Ahmed Al-Awadi, and in May 2020 she announced Her marriage to him, only to separate from him in January 2024.
It is noteworthy that Yasmine Abdel Aziz’s latest work was the series “Dharb Nar”, during which she collaborated with the artist Ahmed Al-Awadi, and it was shown within the Ramadan 2023 drama season.
