Twitter’s head of trust, safety and content, Ella Irwin, has resigned from the social media company, she told Archyde.com.
Irwin’s work has included content moderation, and the company has faced criticism and accusations of lax protections once morest harmful content since its acquisition by billionaire Elon Musk in October.
Musk made drastic changes, which some say are the reason for the decline in the growth of “Twitter”, from layoffs and frequent breakdowns, to the accumulation of debt and the paid blue mark crisis, which questioned his abilities and management skills.
The chief content officer quit as the platform struggles to keep advertisers on board, especially with brands wary of appearing alongside inappropriate or unreliable content.
Earlier this month, Musk announced the appointment of former NBC Universal director Linda Iaccarino as its new CEO.
Twitter is seeking to adjust course following a significant drop in revenue.
“Twitter” is currently taking an approach that expels advertisers and users, and Tim Hubbard, a professor of management at the “Mendoza” School of Business at the University of Notre Dame, said, “Unless there are fundamental changes in Twitter, I do not think that a change of leadership will have the immediate effect that Musk hopes it will.” speaks to him.”
