Judge Bea she modeled abroad for more than a decade, she returned home to Hungary four years ago, where she worked as a civilian. He recently told Glamor about the background of his decision given he told in his interview The Traitors former competitor.
When I moved home, I had to build my career from scratch, because I didn’t want to continue modeling anymore, and we hardly knew anyone. (…) At the age of thirty-three, I felt that the point had come that I would rather hand over the baton to the young people. Because of my age, I no longer felt comfortable in this role. In addition, there is complete confusion surrounding this profession in Hungary. The high-fashion model, which I also did, is not known here
Bíró explained to the newspaper, who, by his own admission, never had the goal of becoming a supermodel one day.
That’s why I wasn’t interested in New York or Paris, where you can build a career as a beginner, but you can’t earn money. I loved every moment of my profession, but now I don’t like being referred to as a model.
During the conversation, Bíró admitted that four years ago the new chapter of his life started with difficulty, and for a long time he was not even sure if he wanted to stay in Hungary.
I have always been interested in what I could do with my economics degree in such a difficult field as Hungary. What is it like to build a career that is not based on my appearance, where I am one of many and where I use what is inside me, my knowledge. I studied tourism in English, I liked dealing with people. I imagined myself as the director of a five-star hotel, but I had to realize that I had to start at the bottom of the ladder.
At that time, the former model applied for many positions in hotels, but as she says, she realized that these professions did not have the kind of culture that could start a life for a person who had moved home from abroad – so she ended up in the administrative and financial field. He currently manages an office of 110 people, and soon he will deal with marketing and event management.
As for the relationship between her TV appearances and her civilian occupation, Bíró Bea stated that she draws a very sharp line between her professional life and her public appearances, and her priority is her workplace, which she cannot live a typical influenza life alongside, as she works during the day, so during the week, you cannot participate in every event to which you are invited.
My heart hurts when I can’t go, but it’s important to be able to fulfill my work. If I also have time and the opportunity to participate in public, it makes me happy, because they allow me to go back a little to my previous life.
