Perhaps the decisions to stop and prevent singing are prevalent in the Egyptian Musicians Syndicate these days, following the Syndicate announced, through an official statement, the suspension of singer Omar Kamal.
On Tuesday evening, the union issued a statement announcing the suspension of the owner of the song “Bint Al Jeeran” and his transfer to the investigation. Regarding the reason, the union only indicated that this was due to what the singer had done on the social networking site “Facebook”.
The union’s decision, which came in one line, did not explain the incident for which Omar Kamal was arrested, but the latter entered into more than one argument on social networks, through more than one live broadcast that appeared during the past days.
He also clashed with some and appeared in a nervous state as he spoke proudly of his going to the United States of America, as well as his recent artistic activities.
It seems that the singer, who became famous through the popular festivals that he presented, got used to the suspension decision, as this is the third time that he has been subjected to suspension and diversion for investigation.
After the first incident came due to the song “Bint Al Jeeran”, which carried words that the union considered inappropriate, while the second suspension was regarding a month ago when he performed a concert and changed the words of his famous song, which caused the union to become angry once more.
So far, Kamal has not commented on the decision issued by the Musicians’ Syndicate to stop him, and did not justify the actions he took during the past days and the state of nervousness that haunted him.
For its part, the Syndicate of Musical Professions issued a statement rejecting any transgression or infringement of artistic symbols, which it described as having affected the history of the Egyptian song, contemporary greats, and remained a symbol of giving and dedication, such as the artist Hani Shaker, the captain of the musical professions.
She said that she refuses to utter and utter Hani Shaker, expressing her condemnation of the appearance of any Egyptian singer on the means of communication in an inappropriate manner, and uttering words that have suggestive and immoral connotations that degrade the value and value of the Egyptian artist and infringe modesty.
