Worthy of attention.
Russian cinema is booming. Viewers are delighted with spectacular blockbusters like “A Hundred Years Ago.” The classics are returning to the screens: the success of “The Master and Margarita” and “Onegin” is proof of this.
The adventures of the charming “Slave” and the no less charismatic “The Last Bogatyr” also please, as does the modernized “Cheburashka”. Yulia Peresild conquers space in “Challenge”. This is all great. But behind the shiny new releases, many viewers have lost sight of other films that are not inferior in plot, cinematography and acting.
In the selection “Movie posters“There are films both relatively new and quite old – some will be almost twenty years old. Nevertheless, they still belong to the new Russian cinema: both in style and in quality.
“Radio Day” and “Peter FM” can take you back to the 2000s without worries. “Daddy, Die” seems like a comedy, but it gives us a fresh look at the problems of fathers and children. “Arrhythmia” shows how important it is to remember yourself and your loved ones, even if you spend your whole life helping strangers.
The tragic “Cargo 200” is a magnificent work regarding the eternal value of life. Zvyagintsev’s viscous and heavy “Dislike” does not entertain, but honestly and completely demonstrates the life of modern people. After this photo, many may have reason to think. However, just like following watching “Elephants Can Play Football” or the movie “Fool”.
