The singer-songwriter shared videos of herself crying at Munich International Airport in Germany… claiming she was threatened by a supervisor on her Lufthansa flight and kicked off her flight.
BR said she spoke to one of the airport security guards in Albanian because she thought he was speaking to her in Albanian – an act she said sparked a heated confrontation with airport staff.
Rexha says she is certain she faced a hate crime because she is Albanian, and the alleged discrimination does not end there.
Bebe claimed that security personnel continued to “mentally torture” him and assert their authority, but no one intervened to say anything. She said she tried to report his name but he would not provide it.
By the way… Bebe learned Albanian at an early age because her father was born in North Macedonia, a country where people speak both Macedonian and Albanian, and her mother also has Albanian roots.
A Lufthansa spokesperson told TMZ… they are in direct contact with Bebe to get the full story. They make the airline connect people around the world… and, diversity and equal opportunity are core values of their company.
We are told that Lufthansa does not tolerate any discriminatory behaviour and will investigate it thoroughly.
