Beavis and Butt-Head aired on MTV from 1993 to 1997. It was a different time, a different generation, different music – but Beavis and Butt-Head can certainly be called a great success. I don’t know how Beavis and Butt-Head is doing today, for many people they will certainly still be known or have cult status, perhaps in view of MTV consumption at the time.
What is certain is that Paramount in the USA will be showing a film on June 23 that revolves around the two heavy metal fans. Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe is the title. It’s regarding science fiction, time travel and more.
Definitely check it out if you’re a fan. There’s more besides the start of the film. The entire library of over 200 original episodes of Beavis and Butt-Head will be released on Paramount+ on the same day. After Paramount+ has started in Germany, it might be shown here – hopefully not in a translation.
