Line Desrochers, guest artist
Originally from Les Côteaux, Line Desrochers has lived in Beauharnois for many years. She has always been interested in different forms of artistic expression and several mediums are used to explore and stimulate her curiosity. This artist likes to draw or paint on the motif. She uses graphite, acrylic, oil and some mixed techniques to explore the different themes that inspire her. Live models, the body and all its states of mind fascinate her and come up regularly in her work, even if, from time to time, she flirts with other subjects… For some time now, cats have been her source of interest. inspiration; both his own, those of others, and those who weren’t so lucky and are still orphans. Current topic if any, since several newspaper articles describe the problem of overpopulation of stray cats. She wanted to encourage their adoption through her work.
