On August 4, 2022, Ichikawa Soft Laboratory released “SILKYPIX Developer Studio Pro11 ~Package for Marine~”, a set of high-quality RAW development software and a marine guidebook that specializes in adjusting underwater photography. Reference price is 23,870 yen (tax included).
The latest version of versatile RAW development software “SILKYPIX”SILKYPIX Developer Studio Pro11”, a special package that includes a dedicated “Marine Guidebook” specializing in how to adjust underwater photos, and a “SILKYPIX Original Marine Bag” (capacity 5 liters) with a logo.
The software itself is the same as the normal “SILKYPIX Developer Studio Pro11”. Among the many functions of “Developer Studio Pro11”, the difference from the regular version is that it comes with a guidebook that explains the functions and operations necessary for beautifully finishing underwater photographs, such as the “marine controller function”.
Marine controller function
■ Underwater auto white balance
It analyzes the image and automatically determines the white balance in the direction of removing the bluish tint, and can appropriately set the color temperature, color deviation, color depth, and underwater color deviation.
■ Underwater gray balance tool
If there is a white object (or an achromatic object) in the photo, simply specifying that part will automatically set the white balance, color depth, and underwater color deviation appropriately.
■Color depth
Manually adjust the white balance corresponding to the water depth.
■ Underwater color deviation
Manually adjust images that are greenish or bluish depending on the color of the water.
■ Color restoration
The deeper the water depth, the more vivid the colors become, and the greater the change in color.
■ Removal of turbidity
Eliminates light scattering and reduces turbidity when contrast is reduced by dust or suspended matter in water.
Basic features for underwater photography

Equipped with 5 types of presets called “taste” for underwater use. Just select your favorite “taste” from the menu and you can adjust it.
■ RAW/JPEG/TIFF compatible
With the unique technology “SILKYPIX RAW Bridge” function, accurate correction is possible by expanding JPEG and TIFF image data to a state close to RAW data.
■ Fine color controller
Adjust the “hue”, “saturation” and “brightness” for each of the eight colors.
■ Spotting tool
Floating objects in the water and dust attached to the image sensor can be automatically erased, and the specified location can be copied and corrected.
