After much speculation and a few leaks, wireless headphones Beats Studio Buds+ were finally launched by the famous subsidiary of Apple — just under a month following they were approved by Anatel in Brazil.
As revealed in advance, the headphones are available in the colors black/gold, ivory (both similar to the colors of the original model) and the brand new color translucent (or transparent, as you prefer).
Compared to the original model, the new headphones have Active Noise Cancellation up to 1.6x better, up to 2x better Ambient mode, 3x bigger microphones and powerful new ventilation technology.
Equipped with a processor from Beats itself, the headphones have features already known to users of AirPods, such as one-tap pairing for Apple (and Android) devices, as well as “Hey Siri” command support. Audio sharing and automatic switching of devices (on Android) – two things that were not in the first generation of the phone – also appeared in this new version.
Also providing support for Spatial Audio and with playback controls, Beats Studio Buds+ come with a battery life of up to 36 hours — being 9 hours on the headphones battery and another 27 hours from charging the charging case (with USB-C port) — with Active Noise Cancellation disabled. This represents a nice increase over the battery life of the previous model, which was up to 24 hours.
The headphones still offer water resistance (IPX4 rated) and are available with four silicone tip size options (XS, S, M and L).
Beats Studio Buds+ already are available on the Brazilian App Store Online by R$1.800 (R$200 more expensive than before); in the United States, the headphones are sold by US$170 (US$20 more than the previous generation) and in Portugal, by 200€ (10€ more than before).
