Michelle criticized the hit industry harshly. Resentment is the order of the day. Does Beatrice Egli see it like her colleague?

Siegen – The German-speaking one BatThe industry has recently been exposed to increasing levels of criticism. Female stars in particular report envy and resentment that have overshadowed the scene for many years. Pop icon Michelle (51) recently announced her exit from the music business. After her, Beatrice Egli (35) now speaks out with clear words.

Harsh criticism from pop star Michelle: These colleagues agree with her

“I am thirty years old swam through a shark tank, mostly without a lifebuoy,” explained “Who Lives Love” interpreter Michelle in an interview with Bild. “Now I’ve reached a point where I don’t have the strength to continue. “I don’t want to stay in this toxic environment any longer,” she said, making her by no means the only one to criticize the German hit industry.

Her Austrian colleague Melissa Naschenweng (33) also spoke of a “shark tank” in an interview with Blick and complained: “I experience a lot of resentment. I think it’s a total shame that the hit business is such a shark tank. It’s not a child’s birthday at all. What goes on behind the scenes is worthy of a film.” So is the harmony in front of the camera simply a blatant lie? Schlager princess Beatrice Egli now denied this in a new interview with the “Siegener Zeitung”.

Beatrice Egli doesn’t feel any competition with other pop singers

Egli, who recently released her new album “Balance”, emphasized in an interview with reporters that she finds working with female pop acts to be a positive experience. “I think it’s really nice to see how much female power there is in German hits,” she explains her view of things. “I have so many great colleagues with whom I enjoy being inspired, exchanging ideas, working together and sharing my love of music.”

Ultimately, of course, every pop singer has the right to her own opinion. Beatrice Egli apparently does not share the views of her colleagues. It therefore remains to be seen whether the comments will trigger a larger discussion in the industry. There is currently no reason for Beatrice Egli to doubt her own success: The “Beatrice Egli Show” has been sold out for weeks. Sources used: View, picture, Siegen newspaper
