Anya Petrova: We don’t necessarily place extra emphasis on Sundays,but we acknowledge the positive trend. It’s more about maintaining our focus and executing our game plan regardless of the day of the week. A win is a win, and we are approaching this as any othre game.

Archyde: The team didn’t have a power play opportunity in the last game, which is a season first.Is that something the coaching staff is looking to address for the upcoming game?

Anya Petrova: Of course, power play opportunities are an critically important aspect of our game and something we continually focus on.. We still scored five goals without it, so, that’s is a testament to out team’s ability to adopt to a unique situation. We’ll be prepared to capitalize on any advantages we get in that department moving forward.

Archyde: Looking ahead to the Calder Cup Playoffs, the Hershey bears have a storied history with 13 championships. What are the key factors that will contribute to another deep playoff run this year?

Anya Petrova:Experience, solid goaltending, and a relentless work ethic are key in the playoffs. Hunter Shepard and Clay Stevenson are both playing incredibly well in net. We also need to stay disciplined, play with intensity, and capitalize on scoring chances. Most importantly, we need to stay healthy.

Archyde: with Alex Limoges unfortunately sustaining an upper-body injury, how will the team adjust its lineup and strategy?

Anya Petrova: Any time you encounter injuries, you must make adjustments. We are looking at a couple of options to shuffle the lines and will monitor them during practice to make sure that we get all the lines meshing together.The key will be staying committed to the team’s identity and doing our best to maintain continuity despite the changes.
