The Aemps warns that this interaction is potentially fatal and should never be administered simultaneously. In addition, it asks to respect minimum waiting times between both therapies.

“Since the issuance of the last informative note, six new cases of this interaction have been reported, all serious and four of them fatal,” the agency explained.
