Be Faithful rapper Fatman Scoop (53) passed away | De Gooi

American media reported on Saturday that help in the hospital was of no avail. The exact cause of death has not been announced.

“It is with a very heavy heart that I announce the passing of Isaac Freeman III, known professionally as Fatman Scoop,” manager Birch Michael wrote on Facebook. “You taught me how to be the man I am today. I love you Scoop. Thank you so much for everything you gave me.”

Fatman Scoop scored his biggest hit in the Netherlands with the song Lose Control, which he made together with Missy Elliott and Ciara. The song reached the 24th place in the charts in 2005. With Be Faithful he reached the 30th place. Furthermore, Fatman Scoop worked together with artists such as Mariah Carey, Pitbull, Bob Sinclar and Sean Paul.
