The Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM) issued a warning on Thursday morning for slippery conditions on the roads in Wallonia, Brussels, as well as in the Flemish provinces of Limburg and Flemish Brabant.
Due to a disturbance that moves from west to east across Belgium, there is temporarily still a risk of ice in the provinces of Antwerp, Brabant and Limburg, explains the IRM.
These precipitations will reach the south of the Sambre-et-Meuse furrow giving there light snowfalls or first also a little ice. The code yellow warning prevails until late morning in Brussels, Walloon Brabant and Hainaut, and until 4:00 p.m. in the provinces of Liège, Namur and Luxembourg.
