The Central African States Development Bank (Bdeac) is committed to financing seven projects for the emergence of this part of the black continent. At the start of the year, the envelope promised by the Central African States Development Bank of Central Africa (Bdeac) establishes “a new record” insofar as it represents “more than half of the volume of all the commitments of the previous financial year”, welcomes the financial institution. The projects accelerating the integration of the sub-region occupy “an important place” in these financings concluded last Monday by the Board of Directors and the General Assembly of the Bdeac meeting by videoconference. These include, details the source, the Construction Project of the new Libreville Airport (Gabon), the Congo-Ocean Railway Rehabilitation and Equipment Project (Congo) and the Road Development Project Akurenam-Minang (Equatorial Guinea). In addition, the Bank supports the private sector in agro-industry, industry, pharmaceutical health and microfinance. The Bdeac, “with this new financing, brings its interventions in favor of integration projects to more than 309 billion CFA francs (and exceeds) the commitments made during the round table of donors in Paris (France) in November 2020 ( 308 billion FCFA)”, she underlines.
