There are reports that senior players may not play in the T20 series once morest South Africa. This is the first international series India will play following the Indian Premier League. According to reports, the BCCI has decided to rest the senior players and give the youngsters a chance.
The five-match series runs from June 9 to 19. India will fly to the UK following this series. India have matches once morest Ireland and England in the UK. The BCCI’s goal is to rest the senior players ahead of the England series. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jaspreet Bumra and KL Rahul are all expected to be rested.
The first T20 will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The rest of the matches will be played on June 9, 12, 14, 17 and 19 in Cuttack, Visakhapatnam, Rajkot and Bangalore respectively.
