Mumbai: Women cricketers Deepti Sharma and Rajeshwari Gaekwad have been promoted in the BCCI’s renewed annual contract. The players were transferred to A grade. Their annual income is around Rs 50 lakh. Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Manthana and Poonam Yadav are the other Grade A players. Those in grade B earn Rs 30 lakh and those in C earn Rs 10 lakh.
The BCCI has 17 players on its annual contract. Sneh Rana has been newly added to the contract. The pooja dressers who were in C last year got B grade. Veterans Mithali Raj and Julan Goswami retained their places in the B-League. Tanya Bhatia and Shefali Verma are the other B-grade players.

Meanwhile, Jamie Rodriguez and Shikha Pandey, who were in B grade, were downgraded to C grade. However, Mansi Joshi and Radha Yadav were dropped from the contract.
Grade A: – Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Manthana, Poonam Yadav, Deepti Sharma, Rajeshwari Gaikwad. Grade B: – Mithali Raj, Julan Goswami, Tanya Bhatia, Shefali Verma, Pooja dressers.
Grade C: – Poonam Rawat, Shikha Pandey, Jamie Rodriguez, Richa Ghosh, Halleen Deol, Arundhati Reddy, Sneh Rana.
