The Televizier-Ring Gala was broadcast live again on Thursday from the Royal Theater Carré in Amsterdam. B&B Vol Liefde participant Malgosia was not invited, but managed to get in anyway. She told Shownieuws how that went (see video).
“I was approached by gentlemen in suits,” said Malgosia. “I was just very open with everyone so I said, ‘I have to go in, I have to go in.’ Then someone gave me a tip. I then went to the toilet to put on my prom dress, which I had in my bag.”
She continues: “When I was inside, Patrick, who accompanied me to B&B, said that he was completely amazed to see me. He had instructed security extra to be careful that I did not enter. When the lights were off, I I went inside and there were just seats available.”
Afterparty
The much-discussed participant of the popular program was said to have been sent away from the afterparty of B&B Vol Liefde because Albert, the castle owner she visited in the reality program, did not want to see her. “Albert, I left. Not for you, not because of you and not because you wanted me to,” she finally sneers.
Televizier-Ring
B&B Vol Liefde narrowly missed out on winning the Televizier-Ring on Thursday evening. It was the TV program Dwars door de Lage Landen that won the prize (see video below). In this VPRO series, Belgian presenter Arnout Hauben discovers the Netherlands while walking with his friends. Arnout was visibly happy with the prize. He addressed “the whole of the Netherlands” during his speech. “From every Belgian, from the bottom of our hearts, we are very proud tonight,” said Arnout. “Tonight we are Amsterdammers.”

The Televizier-Ring Gala: Where Fashion Meets Faux Pas!
Ah, the Televizier-Ring Gala! The annual event where television’s crème de la crème gather to celebrate who can win the most awards while looking the least awkward on the carpet. This year’s event was hosted live from the Royal Theater Carré in Amsterdam, and let’s just say the drama started before the first sip of champagne was poured.
Malgosia: Crash The Gala With Style!
So, who doesn’t love a good plot twist? Enter Malgosia, a participant from the reality show B&B Vol Liefde. Our illustrious fashionista wasn’t even on the Alex Reed list! You’d think being snubbed would make someone weep quietly into their designer handbag, but not Malgosia. No, she decided to play a game of Mission Impossible—and by ‘mission’, I mean attempting to gatecrash the gala with all the stealth of a bull in a china shop.
She recounted her escapade to Shownieuws: “I was approached by gentlemen in suits,” she revealed. “I said, ‘I have to go in, I have to go in!’” Well, she certainly didn’t sound like she was practising her social skills! That’s the sort of confidence that would be great for a job interview—“Hire me! I need this job!” But here she was, serenading security instead!
Bathroom Glamour: The New Red Carpet
In true fashionista form, she then slipped into her prom dress in the restroom, because every glamorous outfit deserves a fitting introduction in public amenities—no one likes stained hems, right? “When I was inside, Patrick, who accompanied me to B&B, looked stunned to see me. He had even told security to watch out for me!” Talk about a surprise appearance. It’s like the television gods were conspiring for a dramatic reveal!
The Afterparty Drama: Reality Show Meets Real Life
But the afterparty was not as glamorous for Malgosia. Awkward moment alert! She was reportedly shown the door after the castle owner from her show, Albert, didn’t want to see her. To which Malgosia cheekily responded: “Albert, I left. Not for you, not because of you and not because you wanted me to!” Oh, the shade! Not even the best shade of lip gloss could mask the icy air that must have hung between them. Give her an award for best comeback!
Televizier-Ring Results: Close, But No Cigar
Despite all the chaos, B&B Vol Liefde tied up with a side of almost-won-but-not-quite. The Televizier-Ring was snatched away by Dwars door de Lage Landen, which aired its winning segment featuring Belgian presenter Arnout Hauben jaunting through the Netherlands with pals. “From every Belgian, from the bottom of our hearts, we are very proud tonight,” Arnout proclaimed. I guess it truly was a night where “my friends are my family,” but if I were Malgosia, I’d have crammed myself into a corner just to avoid the awkwardness!
Conclusion: A Gala to Remember!
So there you have it! A gala filled with unexpected entrances, diva drama, and a hint of fashion flair that only a bathroom can provide. As the world of reality TV collides head-on with real-life emotions, one has to wonder: Is there a door that can truly keep someone like Malgosia out? Perhaps next year’s Televizier-Ring will feature a category just for the best crashers! Until then, let’s keep our prom dresses on standby—who knows when they’ll come in handy next!
