BB.lv: Negotiations with Putin are possible, but only through intermediaries

Previously, he repeatedly spoke about the impossibility of such negotiations, which was even enshrined in law in Ukraine.

According to Zelensky, the only option for negotiations with the Russian leader is to use intermediaries, as was done during the discussion and creation of the Black Sea grain corridor.

“This model was first used in the example of the grain corridor, when Ukraine negotiated not with Russia, but with the UN and Turkey. They, in turn, took on the responsibility of negotiating with us, and then signing a corresponding agreement with the Russian Federation. And that’s how it worked: two mirror agreements between the UN and Turkey,” Zelensky said.

According to Zelensky, the task is to prevent the complete destruction of Ukraine and everything Ukrainian and to ensure security for the present and future generations of Ukrainians.

As the Ukrainian president stated, economic security is the country’s membership in the European Union. In addition, in his opinion, Ukraine should be in NATO, since without it there remain great risks for his country.
