Serge Gnabry will apparently stay with FC Bayern beyond the upcoming season. According to ‘The Athletic’, the 27-year-old has agreed a new long-term contract with Bayern Munich. A farewell this summer is finally off the table.
Yesterday, Thursday, the ‘kicker’ reported that both sides are confident of concluding the negotiations in the near future. Poker with the DFB national player has been dragging on for months, so Real Madrid and Chelsea also had chances of signing Gnabry.
The offensive player has been lacing his shoes for Bayern since 2017. In 171 competitive games, the native of Stuttgart contributed 104 points. There may be a few more to come.
Update (1:35 p.m.): The ‘Bild’ now reports on the exact running time. According to the tabloid, Gnabry’s new contract will run until 2027. According to ‘Sky’, the official announcement will follow this Friday.
