Bayern Munich are Francophiles, they have regularly demonstrated it in recent years during the transfer window, and this one is no exception. It is now the turn of another Frenchman, Sacha Boey, to be the target of Bavarian leaders.
The former Rennais (23 years old), who left Brittany in the summer of 2021, has truly established himself for two years as an indisputable starter at Galatasaray, the club with which he discovered the Champions League this season. And delivered several full matches, notably once morest Bayern during the group stage (1-3, 1-2).

The Istanbul club therefore expected to be attacked on the market but rather during the summer, one year before the end of its side’s contract. A transfer to open the door to the Blues?
If Galatasaray does not intend to accept this offer, the two clubs have entered an active phase of negotiations, with Bayern wishing to move forward on a file that has become a priority at the start of this last week of the winter market. A transfer to the German champion would allow Boey to take a new step in his young career, and perhaps convince Didier Deschamps to give the former Espoirs international (1 selection) his chance in the French team. His name was mentioned among the credible options in October, when the coach was faced with the unavailability of his regular internationals in this position.
The coach then preferred Malo Gusto, accustomed to higher levels in the Premier League with Chelsea. At the same time, Rigobert Song tried several times to convince him to opt for Cameroon. Without success. In the event of a positive outcome with Bayern, Boey would therefore be the fourth Frenchman in the Bavarian squad, alongside Kingsley Coman, Dayot Upamecano and Mathys Tel.
