Despite coming back from 0-1 down, Real Madrid did not give up and through Vinícius found the final 2-2 that leaves open the series that will be defined in Spain on May 8.

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid tied 2-2 in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals, played at the Allianz Arena, following a doublet by Vinícius Junior for the Spanish team and the goals from Leroy Sané and Harry Kane for the locals.

The Germans overcame ‘Vini”s initial goal in just four minutes, in the 53rd and 57th minutes, but the Brazilian equalized once more, with a penalty, in the 84th minute.

The tie left everything open for the second leg that will be played next Wednesday the 8th at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, in Madrid, Spain.

On Bayern’s part, the scorers were the German Leroy Sané and the Englishman Harry Kane, the latter via penalty.

After the end of the match, Vinícius Jr attended to the microphones of Movistar and advocates to live a magical night at home: “We always want to win, but we know that this competition is like that, you can’t give away balls and goals because the teams score the chances they have. We have to continue with a calm head, rest until next time week and we know that the fans and we are going to give everything to qualify. Now it’s time to have a magical night at home,” he said.

Vinícius also praised the game of his teammate Toni Krooswho provided the assist for the first goal, and seemed confident ahead of the second leg.
