BARCELONA (Dow Jones)–Bayer has won a third lawsuit in ongoing glyphosate claims for damages. A Missouri court ruled in favor of Monsanto over whether Roundup weed killer causes cancer, Bayer said late Thursday night. “The jury’s verdict in favor of the company brings this trial to a successful conclusion and is consistent with the evidence in this case that Roundup does not cause cancer and did not cause Mr. Shelton’s cancer,” said Bayer.

By the end of 2021, Bayer had already won two glyphosate trials. A decision from the US Supreme Court, to which Bayer has appealed, is expected shortly.
