The Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) is committed to obeying and implementing the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) regarding the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) dispute.
It is known that the decision on the 2024 Presidential Election Dispute will be read out on Monday (22/4). This time is in accordance with Constitutional Court Regulation Number 1 of 2024. The PHPU hearing for the president and vice president will be held within 14 working days from the time the application is registered with the Constitutional Court.
“As organizers, we are certainly ready to monitor if there is a Constitutional Court decision like that. We will obey and implement the Constitutional Court decision which will be decided on 22 (April 2024),” said Bagja in a written statement, Sunday (21/4).
Whatever the decision, said Bagja, Bawaslu will follow the court’s decision.
It is known that the Constitutional Court will read out the decision of the 2024 general election dispute (PHPU) or presidential election dispute on April 22 2024.
Relevant parties, namely the respondent, namely the KPU and the information provider, namely Bawaslu RI, will be invited to attend the trial agenda.
“The important thing is that we summon everyone, applicant one, applicant two, respondent, related parties, Bawaslu’s statement. These are the four for the two cases, we sent eight letters,” said MK spokesperson Fajar Laksono. (Z-11)
