On June 1, as one of the sub-events of the 7th Chongqing Yuzhong Culture and Tourism Benefiting Consumer Season (Spring and Summer), the first southwest exhibition of “Bauhaus Chess Set International Chess Exhibition” kicked off in Chongqing Tiandi. “I’m familiar with chess, but it’s the first time I’ve seen this kind of giant ‘chess’. It’s so interesting!” As Mr. Guo, a citizen, said, the “chessboard” occupies most of the space in the Binjiang Plaza in Chongqing Tiandi. The 6-meter-high “chess pieces” are in their respective positions, as if they are “playing games” at any time. The chess body is mainly colored in blue, white, red and black, attracting many citizens to take pictures. At night, when the lights built into the chess body light up, it gives another wonderful experience. In addition to Binjiang Square, there is also a “King Chess” with a height of 6.6 meters in the corridor square of the AB Hall of Jialing Center.
It is reported that a total of 16 giant chess pieces with heights ranging from 3 to 6.5 meters are displayed in this exhibition, all of which are presented in Bauhaus style.
