FAMOUS ARTIST Krisdayanti is confirmed to run in the Batu Mayoral Election. On Tuesday (30/7), she received a letter of assignment from the PDI Perjuangan DPD, East Java.

In addition, the East Java PDIP DPD submitted seven letters of recommendation of support to seven pairs of prospective regional head candidates (bacakada) for districts/cities. “Thank you, thank you party seniors for this DPP assignment letter,” said Krisdayanti after receiving the DPP Assignment Letter delivered by the Daily Chair of the East Java PDIP DPD, Budi Sulistyono, in Surabaya, Tuesday (30/7/2034).

After receiving the assignment letter, KD will look for someone who will accompany him later as a candidate for Deputy Mayor of Batu. In addition, he will consolidate PDIP cadres in Batu.

The seven pairs of candidates who received the letter include those from Surabaya City, Blitar, Probolinggo, Tulungagung Regency, Sumenep, and Jombang. Each candidate who officially received a letter of recommendation from the PDIP DPP is Eri Cahyadi and Armuji for the Surabaya City Pilkada, Ony Anwar Harsono-Dwi Rianto Jatmiko for Ngawi Regency.

Next are Achmad Fauzi-KH Imam Hasyim in Sumenep Regency, Nyai Mundjidah Wahab-Sumrambah for Jombang Regency, Maryoto Birowo-Didik Girnoto for Tulungagung Regency. There are also Bambang Rianto-Bayu Setyo Kuncoro for Blitar City and Habib Zainal Abidin-Sri Setyo Pertiwi for Probolinggo City.

Budi Sulistyono, who is familiarly called Kanang, stated that the pairs of candidates who received recommendations must win the Pilkada in their respective regions. “Don’t lose. It’s better to win dishonorably than to lose honorably,” said Kanang when giving his speech.

The East Java PDIP DPD continues to communicate with other political parties to reach agreements in a number of regions. (Z-2)
