A few days ago, it was announced that PUBG: Battlegrounds would be getting a massive slate of summer events, known as Survivor Summerfest. This list would kick off this week with PUBG Arcade between July 12 and August 2, but would be bolstered along the way with a few updates from “mega collab”, as well as a map update. Well, it looks like the first mega collab has been named, and it seems to be bringing a beloved fighting game franchise to battle royale.
The first collaboration, slated for July 26, will apparently add Street Fighter related goodies, and judging by the teaser image, we can expect Chun-Li, Ryu, Ken, and Cammy to be involved, with some even seeming to get alternate versions, as shown by the two Chun-Lis.
There’s no word yet on what the collaboration will actually entail, but with that coming soon, expect more information in the days and weeks to come.
Likewise, he hasn’t yet teased what to expect for Mega Collab 2, but there’s no doubt that it will be something exciting to follow up on from the Street Fighter collaboration.
