Battle for Olympus – Overwatch

Battle for Olympus is one of the events ofOverwatch 2. It begins on January 5 at 8:00 p.m. and ends on January 19. A specific game mode and skins are available during it. Find all the info below!

1. Introduction

Battle for Olympus is a temporary event d’Overwatch 2. For two weeks, participate in a new game mode and get the cosmetic customizations available. Get ready for merciless fights.

During Battle for Olympus, a global ranking will be updated and the winner will receive a statue in Illios – Ruins.

2. Game mode

Battle for Olympus highlights a new PvP mode taking the form of a fight to the death every man for himself. Take part in clashes on the different playable maps using the seven heroes and heroines available. The latter will have access to modified ultimate abilities for the occasion.

2.1. Heroes and heroines available

During the Battle for Olympus, you will have access to Ramattra Poseidon, Queen of Junkers Zeus, Minotaur Reinhardt, Cyclops Chopper, Pharah Hades, Medusa Widowmaker and Lúcio Hermès. They have specific ultimate abilities.

Ramattra Poseidon

Annihilation divine

  • Ravenous Vortex becomes a large whirlwind that pulls enemies in and then propels them into the air.
  • Pound sends out large waves of water that deal more damage and travel a greater distance.

Queen of the Junkers Zeus

Massacre divin

  • Lasts 20 seconds.
  • Scatter Rifle damage has a chance to cause its abilities to deal additional lightning damage.

Reinhardt minotaure

Divine Seismic Shock

  • Lasts 20 seconds.
  • Reinhardt recovers health when he charges and slams an enemy into a wall.
  • Charge can train up to 3 targets at once.
  • Charge cooldown reduced to 3 seconds.
  • Tackles deal lethal damage, extend the duration of Divine Power, and give the next Charge a 0.5 second cooldown.

Chopper cyclope

Divine Render

  • Lasts 15 seconds.
  • Greatly increases your size and grants you 600 hit points.
  • Chopper throws boulders that deal very heavy damage instead of the usual shot from his ultimate ability.
  • Melee strikes deal five times more damage and knock enemies back.

Pharah Hades

  • Lasts 20 seconds.
  • You can move for the duration of the ultimate ability.
  • Rocket Launcher fires three-headed rockets.
  • Reactors consume much less fuel.
  • Kills heal Pharah and extend the duration of the effect.

Fatal Jellyfish

  • For the duration of the ability, any enemy looking at you is turned to stone.

Lucio Hermès

  • Lasts 20 seconds.
  • Allows you to jump once more following jumping off a wall.
  • Boops can knock enemies into walls, dealing bonus damage and stunning them.
  • Greatly increases attack and movement speeds.
  • Unlimited Ammunition.

3. What customizations available?

Battle for Olympus offers its share of new features. Several cosmetic rewards are available through play, including when completing twenty new challenges, but also in the Shop. Find them in pictures below.
