This Monday, four people appear before the Bastia criminal court following the brawl that occurred at the beginning of January in the parking lot of a store in Furiani.

This Monday, February 12, the Bastia criminal court will judge four people concerning the brawl that occurred on the night of January 5 to 6 in Furiani. The events took place in the parking lot of the commercial area, near the Armand-Cesari stadium. A violent altercation took place between two groups of young people.

On January 8, the Bastia public prosecutor’s office opened an investigation for “aggravated intentional violence”.

Among the four defendants, three of them will appear for “violence in a meeting leading to temporary incapacity for work (ITT) of less than 8 days”. Being part of the same group, they refute the thesis of the attack as well as the qualification of victim of the fourth person also summoned to appear.

Aged 18, this young man, who presents himself as a victim, is referred to court for “intentional violence with weapons which did not result in an ITT”.
