“A derby in this cauldron is a real highlight. Our fans are really great,” said Gavrilo Tepic. Deafening noise, drum roll, a raffle for a good cause (cancer relief), high intensity, but never going beyond the goal – the Flyers put on a real party, which from their point of view even the result matched. Wels coach Sebastian Waser, who wore red socks (matching the club colors) with his fine suit, spoke of an “extra explosiveness due to the table constellation”.
