French basketball fans have two reasons to mark their calendars for February. The French men’s team, known as “Les Bleus,” will be hosting Bosnia and Herzegovina in Orléans on February 24th for a crucial Euro 2025 qualifying match. Meanwhile, the women’s team, “Les Bleues,” is set to face Ireland in Chalon-sur-Saône, marking their return to that city for the first time since Euro 2017.
Orléans: Familiar Territory for “Les Bleus”
The CO’Met arena in Orléans is no stranger to Les Bleus. Frédéric Fauthoux’s squad has already played four matches there, including friendly matches against Canada and Australia in preparation for the Paris 2024 Games and World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela and Lithuania in 2023.
