Formed this season, the ambitious team from Friborg won the Swiss Tour 2022 of 3×3 at Zurich Central Station. Arnaud Cotture, Jonathan Dubas and brothers Natan and Thomas Jurkovitz dominated Lausanne 21-14 in the final.
Fribourg, which like Lausanne aims to represent Switzerland at the 2024 Olympics, flew over the debates on Saturday. Lausanne (Christophe Varidel, Gilles Martin, Marco Lehmann, Westher Molteni) will console themselves by having obtained their ticket for the round of the World Tour in Debrecen (August 27/28). This ticket was to go to the winner of the Swiss Tour, but Friborg was already qualified for the Hungarian meeting.
