Lebanon and Jordan reached the semi-finals of the Asian Basketball Cup, on Wednesday, following the first beat its Chinese counterpart and the second over Iran, in the final price round.
The Lebanese team overcame its Chinese opponent 72-69, while the Jordan team played a big match once morest Iran and achieved a great victory with a score of 91-76.
The two neighboring teams will face each other in the semi-finals on the 23rd of this month, while the winner of the match between Australia and Japan will play the winner of the meeting of South Korea and New Zealand in the other semi-final.
The Indonesian capital, Jakarta, will host the finals of the 30th edition of the Asian Basketball Cup, which started on July 12, and will conclude with the final match on July 24.
The Chinese team holds the record for the number of championship titles with 16 titles, followed by the Philippines team with 5 titles, then the Iranian team with 3 titles, and in fourth place South Korea and Japan with two titles each.
