In Bashkiria, an additional day off has been announced – June 27. The corresponding order was signed on Monday, June 19, by the Head of the Republic.

According to the document, in Bashkiria to work on a day off, June 24, 2023persons holding public positions of the Republic of Bashkortostan, persons holding positions of the state civil service of the Republic of Bashkortostan are involved, the appointment and dismissal of which are carried out by the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

They will be given a day off June 27, 2023 in compliance with the requirements established by the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.

The heads of state bodies of the Republic of Bashkortostan were instructed to make a similar decision in relation to state civil servants and other employees of the relevant state body of the Republic of Bashkortostan, as well as in relation to employees of subordinate organizations.

Also in the municipalities it is recommended to make a decision on work on June 24 and a day off on June 27 for municipal employees and employees of subordinate organizations.

Employers (individual entrepreneurs, individuals applying the special tax regime “Tax on professional income”) operating in the Republic of Bashkortostan are invited to make a similar decision.

The postponement is related to the 10th anniversary forum “Russia-Belarus”, which will be held in Ufa on June 26-28. As Bashinform reported, more than 3,000 guests and a rich business and cultural program are expected. In this regard, a number of streets in the capital of Bashkiria will be blocked, which creates inconvenience for the citizens. That is why it was proposed to make an additional day off during the preparation and holding days so that residents might leave the city.
