Bashagha meets a number of livestock breeders in the city of Sirte and its environs

Libya – The head of the government appointed by parliament, Fathi Bashagha, met yesterday, Monday, at the Prime Minister’s headquarters in Sirte, in the presence of the head of the Central and Western Feed Distribution Committee, Eng. Khaled Shuaib, with a number of livestock breeders in the city of Sirte and the regions of Zamzam and Harwa.

Bashagha listened to the most prominent problems, difficulties and needs facing livestock breeders, the most prominent of which is the high prices of fodder.

Where he emphasized that the government, since the proposal of its budget, has allocated a special value to agriculture and livestock, and although the budget that was spent is only 1.5 billion dinars for all its sections, the government insisted that the issue of fodder be at the top of its priority because of its great importance in reducing the price hike Meat, dairy and its derivatives, which directly affect the food security of the state, as the government has provided one million quintals of fodder as a first payment to help directly alleviate the suffering of educators and citizens, as well as to work to reduce prices in the parallel market.

He also talked about a number of problems that citizens in Libya suffer from due to political divisions, which also affected the agricultural and livestock sector.

At the end of his speech, he promised that he would work to solve a number of problems and difficulties facing educators, and that he would continue to support them in all parts of Libya.
